I recently received these old photos, all from my father's family taken in the 1950's & 60's in Guatemala. That is my Papi, in the last photo on the right. The other photos are of my tia's. Lovely, no?
WHAT MOVES ME - things made by hand, wool, wood, ceramics, laughter, film photography, wrinkles, cracks, natural beauty, homemade food, love. I've done a lot of different things, the most recent thing having a lovely café in Copenhagen called Paté Paté, and an art gallery called Lot45. Write me - jellyfishheart (at) gmail.com
This blog is written to my glorious husband DAN, but you all are welcome to join in. The majority of these photos are not mine (if they are, the tag underneath will read 'my photos') and the name of the photographer or designer or website or what-have-you is embedded in the title. If there is no information, it is because I have pulled it off some feed and there wasn't any information. I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions about anything you see here, or want me to remove your content, please write me a note asking so. This blog is written for love- not money nor fame nor any of its trappings. Just love.
What a nice package this must have been to receive, Natasha! OMG... I can recognize your Dad in the pic! Lovely, indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteCan you believe it? 70 years later, and still the same.
