Maryam Nassir Zadeh

This store has jumped into first position on my list of favorite shops. It was the first stop on my list while in NYC, and I could have blown my entire budget there & then. Instead, I picked a couple of choice pieces and felt satisfied; the black & gray scarf in the second photo, and the orange leather necklace in the last both came home with me. The former is by Lauren Manoogian, and the latter I cannot remember. If you are in Manhattan, you should go by. If not, she has an online shop as well.

Hay CPH

Recently I went into Hay CPH for the first time. As you can probably tell, I am moved more by things of yesterday than tomorrow, so I tend to walk right by modern design studios. Hay has many contemporary goods, but is also good at adding handmade loveliness to their line-up. If you are nowhere near Copenhagen, you can visit their online shop.

Analogue Life

Top notch Japanese product sold here. And a tip of my hat to a great name.

Revolver

We fell over a sweet little shop in San Francisco called Revolver. They just opened a couple of months ago. I was just looking on their site and saw this lovely jacket that they did not have at the time, or else I would have bought it. Just gorgeous.

Bitters Co

This is a great store that I visit whenever I got to Seattle. The two sisters who run the place stock it with lovely things from all over.

Partners & Spade

This store has a great concept - work studio during the week, shop on the weekends, and inventory based on self-curated collections. That is my long-term plan as well.
