I'm spending a lot of time out in the country right now. That's what's so lovely about life in Denmark, the idea that everyone is entitled to rest & relaxation.

Olympic Firework Shacks

Highway 101 on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington has a 2-3 miles where locals have set up shacks to sell fireworks once a year. The outsider art almost gave me whiplash; luckily, we had all the time in the world to turn back and shoot them.

Hay CPH

Recently I went into Hay CPH for the first time. As you can probably tell, I am moved more by things of yesterday than tomorrow, so I tend to walk right by modern design studios. Hay has many contemporary goods, but is also good at adding handmade loveliness to their line-up. If you are nowhere near Copenhagen, you can visit their online shop.
